History: I'd like you to switch 'sold' to something like 'moved between' just to avoid certain allusioins.
Other than that I'd like to hash out the basics of Sagiri's experimental eye. As an experiment you don't need to go dormant on it- for now at the least I'd like you to set it to rookie and use the "visual physical enhancement" linked below as a guideline, but add in a drawback because of the eye being experimental. You can take liberties as needed.
The eye will be able to upgrade up to journeyman eventually (possibly higher with the help of a character with the experimentation ability), so we can work out the more unique traits a little later.

They were the people that would ideally occupy these lands for the Empire and keep it fed as it expanded back into the north, but to the Akimichi they were frustrating inept foot soldiers that moved the supply line far too slowly for his taste. The Emperor’s insistence that he remain with them to protect the more long-term goals of the empire was frustrating. He could keep some of his free will so that he could tap into his inner rage, but the orders passed down by the Uchiha woman were always so boring.
As he walked forward, he noticed people in his ranks starting to fall. Mules were getting free of their carts. Conscripts were moving to desert. Growling, he reached out and wrapped his hand around the neck of a man running by him.
“Hold the line! There’ll be nothing left to bury of cowards!” he yelled in a guttural voice as he slammed the deserters head into the ground.
He scanned the crowd looking for movements, not finding the hidden kazekage but noticing a group of recently fallen. He pushed past a plethora of troops and came to the scene of the attack. He lifted his mask for a moment, revealing the dark sclera around his eyes. He began to sniff, his nose twitching.
“Shinko!” he yelled. “Where are you hiding? I’ve been looking forward to meeting you again.”
Okay. Disrupting working chakra I can work with. Shape manipulation (including barriers), jutsu that countinue to be manipulated after formation like water dragon jutsu, puppet strings, nintai armors, and clones that would normally surive stirkes would be applicabale and acceptable.
The thing is that chakra is converted into other things with transformation. Fireball jutsu is no longer chakra after the conversion takes place, it is fire. An earth spike is shaped and then propelled forward by chakra but isn't chakra itself after it is fired. So that is what I am worried you may be thinking will happen.
I still need mention of a chakra cost to use negation, and one other thing is to reword veteran to take out the granting of the physical enhancement proficiency. That spans out multiple proficiencies and you could have the equivlant to one baked in, but it needs to be refered to as an equivlant and not actually adding the proficiency itself.
The last thing I need is to add in that this proficiency has no effect on bijuu chakra.
[attr="class","APP3"]Though Jun’s bow did strike true against one of the bodies dragging the Jounin of the Hidden Stone away, it was the last they would see of Shoichi, or that side of the battlefield for that matter. The ground would begin to tremble once more, and the area around Shoichi and the female kunoichi in hiding began to collapse as the ground gave in. Trees were uprooted with the fall, and then a stillness followed by faint screams. His attempts to spot the assassin that had been fleeing were in vain, she had managed to slip out of site and was heading in the direction of the city.
Makoto, who had bravely charged forward had ended up in a tussle with three reanimations that were right at the edge of the fallen ground. Below she would be able to catch a glimpse of the arena created below an artificial canyon thirty feet down, with a tunnel leading to the east. In the center of it all was a raven-haired woman in a regal outfit of a pale plum and black, with gold to accent it.
Around her two wicked pillars of earth impaled Aiko and Mai, not yet dead but mortally wounded. A third body, belonging to Shoichi, could be seen being enclosed behind the lid of a standing coffin that began to sink beneath the ground. After this was performed the woman placed a hand on Mai’s forehead, draining a visible amount of chakra from her body, so much so that the insects that relied on it for food began falling from her as they died.
Kyuu, Daichi, and Ryuunosuke found themselves unimpeded. Due to the speed at which they traveled they would not have time to see down into the hole created in the ground. It seemed as if the enemies here paid them little mind as they pressed onwards towards the city. They would be able to pass on and get to where the front lines began, where they could deliver orders to have units there fall back into the city.
From the pit crawled out four more zombies that charged towards Makoto after she finished dealing with the group that were in the immediate area. Assuming that Jun and Zazou came to join her, they would find themselves staring at the imperial ninjutsu specialist from above as she rejuvenated her energy from the kunoichi that were recently captured. She looked towards them, squinting to make out the headbands of the Hidden Mist.
“What a bother,” she called out. “Why are you even here? When did you pirates become lap dogs for the Sound?”
OOC: Kyuu, Daichi, and Ryuu exited succesfully and will be tagged into the next round of 'the line'!
Updated! The response times for staff have been made more flexible, this thread no longer tracks individuals. Refer to the thread you entered the event in to figure out what team you are on if needed, or you can ask for help in PM or DM if you can't figure out which team you are a part of.
Overall: The scope of this needs to be more limited. My personal recommendation would be to have it be something that can trump shape manipulation (which now includes barriers). Keeping it to the more raw untransformed chakra of shape manipulation and maybe puppet strings would be more acceptable to me. (You could pick up shape manipulation later to get barriers for a more broad defense on a character if desired)
This cannot occupy the taijutsu slot because this extends too far outside of taijutsu. If you'd like to adjust the proficiency to deal in unarmed fightning it could be a possibility but we'd probably need to look at constraining things a bit more.
Resonate I would allow the last basic element the weapon was exposed to in that battle. Using any and all elements the user has encountered is far too powerful.
Cleanse- let's remove this one. There is already a lot of utility happening and this shuts down some of the better counters I can think of to a build based around this.
Master- "...the wounds they leave cannot be healed by lower ranked abilities." Please change it to 'is much more difficult to heal (minor wounds treated as moderate, moderate wounds treated as severe).
Grandmaster- "their body the user gains the ability to negate lower ranked chakra on contact providing them a great measure of defense." This would need to be removed. I am alright with the wings as a capstone though.
Archived. Designer left discord and is presumed to have lost interest. After a long discussion, we have decided that dark release as seen in the movie is something that we need to place on the ban list. The chakra absorption listed in the directory is as far as our comfort levels can go with that type of ability.
My recommendation would for those interested to take the shape manipulation and chakra absorption proficiencies and write in some visual flare to get the closest thing to dark release that we'd allow.
