{ Shadow Clone (Journeyman)}An age old technique that to this day is heralded by some as the most powerful clone jutsu ever created. The ability to split his chakra and form various duplicates of himself allows him to more easily overwhelm his targets in battle, set up for ambushes and gather intelligence without risking his physical form. Though that isn't his primary use of the technique. He prefers to instead use them as his own personal assistants. They are frequently sent off to run errands, cook meals and do all of the things a man of science is often too busy to do himself. And most importantly, they assist him in his experiments. Since the duplicates share his knowledge and steady hand, they serve as the absolute ideal assistants for complicated procedures and modifications.
At his current familiarity with the technique, Kobashigawa is able to create three up to three clones. As with other users of the technique, these clones share all of his knowledge and prowess, making them as dangerous in battle as they are practical in his day to day life. Upon dissipating, the chakra that returns to his body shares everything that they felt and saw during their time away. This is why one can often differentiate the clone from the real deal, as clones can usually be seen carrying clipboards with them. These are used to make a note of any significant events or conversations that will be visually conveyed to the original upon their inevitable dispersing.
The good doctor stood in the main room of his labyrinthian facility. His own little section of dead end the tunnels under Otogakure that he had claimed as his own and expanded upon over the years. As comfortable as they were in this space, it was a strange environment for one unfamiliar with the sciences. Strange devices and concoctions riddled the cold unadorned space, all of it illuminated only as much light was absolutely necessary. The smell of bleach mingled with various chemical and herbal aromas that seemed to fill the environment, likely stemming from some of the bubbling liquids that were constantly churning in various locations throughout the space. This was certainly not the place for the faint of heart, let alone a child. But at least the doctor had the sense to clean up the blood from his latest experiment before seeing his patient.
The sound of a bell ringing echoed through the tunnels, signaling that it was time to meet their newest patient. The shinobi took in a deep breath as he surveyed the space he prepared for this meeting, making sure everything was just so. This was an important client to be sure, one that he couldn't risk having anything go awry with. Once he was confident, he would start his trek down the winding pathways leading toward the entrance. The space as much of a maze as the rest of the tunnels that made up the Otogakure network, filled with various side rooms and dangerous traps to ward off any intruders. There were far too many shinobi that would greedily hunt down his secrets if they weren't protected, some of which called this very village their home. But the ones he was to meet today were most certainly not of that sort.
The instructions given to the Hyuugas were simple. Bring the child, ring the bell and leave. As much trust as he was willing to put into the family as a whole and this daughter of theirs, he wasn't about to let any shinobi into his home while he worked. Even if that work involved their own child. It would take a few minutes for Kobashigawa to reach the door, leaving the individual on the other side with little more to do than wait for their arrival. Or ring the bell, assuming they could reach the rope that hung by the door. But eventually, the door would open to reveal the towering figure of the good doctor.
Lips curled into a gentle smile as a clawed hand reached up to brush his hair back, the small bells affixed to his locks jingling slightly at the movement. "There you are, my dear girl. You must be my newest patient." Long legs bent as he crouched down to be closer to the child's eye level, the bells ringing once more as their head tilted to one side. "Suzuran Hyuuga, yes? I am Kobashigawa Hirabayashi. It is very nice to meet you."

The doctor stood in front of his desk, clawed hands resting on his hips as he surveyed the small room set aside to serve as his 'office'. It seemed that those who came in to his clinic as patients weren't too comfortable having meetings in the same space where his less than friendly experiments had occurred in the past. It wasn't exactly the most friendly looking space, or something like that. So he set off to create a more 'friendly' space, one that was devoid of churning concoctions and sharp torturous tools.
But all of that would have to wait, as a familiarly soft voice would catch the doctor's ears. They perked up a bit at the sound, steps immediately leading them toward the office door. It seemed that the girl hadn't completely forgotten about her task, which was certainly in everyone's best interests. The jonin opened the door and stepped out of the office into the laboratory proper, attention quickly falling to the much younger shinobi. "My dear Sagiri. You really had me worried there. I would've been so disappointed if you had forgotten about me." Their voice rang out in a slight trill as they stepped closer, attention turning to the basket that had been brought along.
Before the girl could be given any more attention, her work had to be appraised. Sharp nails carefully picked up the harvested plants like a pair of tweezers as he carefully arranged them in the table's empty space. "So, tell me about this mission of yours. I trust you and Yozei did me proud in your efforts?"

The two Hyuga girls would feel the resistance slowly fade from the man trapped beneath them, his hands and feet merely twitching as he struggled to fight against the toxins flowing through his bloodstream. Alas, it was all for naught. Even if they were to release him, the man would remain completely motionless. Save for his eyes, which stared out fearfully as they frantically searched his field of view for a beacon of hope. But all he would only find his captors as he was forced to devote all of his energy to his diaphragm to ensure he had enough oxygen to survive this trial.
Meanwhile, the doctor would watch the duo with a consistent soft smile, even as it seemed the two of them had lost a bit of their patience with the doctor's ramblings. They watched Bashira as she gave her little speech, her attention seemingly focused on the younger girl all the while. A soft hum delicately slipped through their lips as they nodded along, sharpened nails gently clicking together as they contemplated the words. "It is good that you are aware of the danger you two face. But the worry of an absent sister isn't enough to protect what you have. You are but two little lambs in a den of wolves as we speak. So it is good to hear that you two are sticking together. Such wisdom is rare in one as youthful as yourself." A claw reached out toward her, moving to gently caress her cheek. But it would stop before reaching its destination as the younger of the two spoke up.
Brows rose ever so slightly as the doctor turned toward Hoshiko. Head tilted to one side, smile growing a bit more amused as she voiced her opinion. "I admire your bravery, little one. To speak such insults to a man like me is a dangerous thing, indeed." A claw moved down to the immobilized patient, gaze remaining locked onto the genin's as the sharpened tip grazed the skin surrounding the open wound. "Many men of my station wouldn't stand for such a thing, you know. But fortunately, I am used to such inaccurate slanders. As such, you have my forgiveness." Attention lingered on the young kunoichi for a few moments, his chest expanding as he slowly sucked in a deep breath. "But please, don't say such a terrible thing ever again. To call my appreciation of the physical form perverse is one of the greatest insults I could fathom. The mere thought of viewing something so beautiful as little more than a thing of pleasure sickens me." The levity melted from his tone at those final words, taking the joy from his eyes along with it.
And yet the smile remained constant through that brief moment, everything seeming to go right back to normal as he finally turned back to the subject at hand. "So! Would you two like to continue this conversation? Or shall I give you a lesson on how to treat a mild case of disembowelment?"
The good doctor paid no mind to how startled the girl was, simply continuing to offer her a warm and friendly smile as they watched her. "Ko. Ba. Shi. Ga. Wa." A clawed finger extended as he spoke, gently wagging from side to side as he very precisely pronounced each syllable of their name. They were used to people getting it wrong, but few people were as consistently inaccurate as the darling little samurai before him. Fortunately for her there was a certain charm to the air of blissful ignorance that seemed to surround her. Which was why he was oh so disappointed that she turned down his generous offer. They let out a heavy sigh so dramatic that it seemed he was playing to the back row.
"Of course you're not." His shoulders drooped slightly, lips pressing together as some of the joy seemed to be sapped from his features. "Do you have any idea how long it has been since someone simply came by to say hello? To enjoy a cup of tea or ask me how I've been?" A hand reached back to run through his hair, folding his long two toned locks back and away from his face as if ensuring his the sadness in his razor sharp eyes was on full display. "But no. You simply want to use my knowledge to create tools of war. You do know that I am a doctor, don't you?" The bells on his head jingled softly as he shook his head, creating a tragically sad chime that matched to distraught tone of his voice. "...But for you? My dear, sweet little Yousei?" Their chest expanded as they sucked in a deep breath, deep red lips curling into a somber smile. "How could I possibly say no?"
A hand reached out to her, a sharp tipped finger placing itself just a bit too close to the red headed shinobi's face before slowly beckoning for her to follow. With that the doctor spun on their heels, tossing their long silky strands of hair behind themselves as they did. Wooden geta clicked on the hard stone floor as he started off down the tunnel, the sound echoing through the chamber and meshing with the jingling of his bells as he moved. "I assume you are willing to offer payment for such a thing, yes? Exactly how much do you think you will be needing?"

The Kobashigawa Hirabayashi of many hours ago was sat in one of the many chambers of his laboratory. It was a modest sized underground facility, a section of supposedly dead end tunnels and chambers that the jonin had claimed for himself during the reign of the previous Kage. Once upon a time the place was quite difficult to find, a hidden lab for a man who wished not to be disturbed by anyone outside of the few who knew how to reach him. But now, portions of it were open to the public! Individuals were welcome to drop by whenever they pleased largely because the more secretive areas were well hidden and protected as any scientists secrets should be. Despite being much more open and lean than it once was, it was still a rather confusing bit of tunnel to be sure. Many who came to visit often made themselves known by calling for help or guidance rather than a proper knock on the door.
And today was no different. Brows rose slightly as a familiar voice called out for an unfamiliar name. One that sounded an awfully lot like a butchering of his own, oddly enough. A soft hum of amusement slipped past his lips as he turned back to the mirror before him, choosing to take his time to affix the last of the small jingling bells to his hair. Once that was done he would lean into the mirror, smacking his lips and examining the blood red coloration he had liberally applied beforehand. A perfect match for his painted claws, just as it should be. Once everything was to his satisfaction, the shinobi would toss his reflection a quick wink before spinning on his heels. It seemed that someone was here for a visit! It was always a treat to receive unexpected guests. Though they could tell from the tone of the voice that they weren't in any sort of immediate danger, which was disappointing. It was always nice to have surprise incidents to spice things up a bit.
As the red headed shinobi wandered the halls, she would inevitably turn a corner. And when she did, she would find herself faced with the towering figured of the bizarre doctor. Deep red lips would curl into a gentle smile in silent greeting, the good doctor idly rocking between his heels and the balls of his feet. And yet somehow as he did, the bells dangling from his hair failed to make a single sound. "Yousei Shinkiro! What a delightful surprise to have you here in my humble facility. And without injury, it seems! Are you here for a check up, perhaps? Or were you simply hoping to pay a visit to a friendly face." Their slow, gentle rocking would come to a stop as he spoke. "Either way, I insist that you join me for tea. I'm sure that we have oh so much to discuss."

Lips curled into a proud smile, dark eyes flicking between the two girls as they oh so diligently restrained the stubborn shinobi. The man beneath them would squirm with what little might he could muster, but the man simply wasn't fit for any form of battle. Instead he simply stared up at the tent above, tears streaming down the sides of his face as he resigned himself to his fate. Kobashigawa's hand extended toward the man, a clawed finger tip gently caressing the man's cheek. "You should count yourself lucky, my friend. Anyone here would love nothing more than to have such sweethearts serving as their nurses. I promise, these darlings are far more gentle than I would have been." His words were muttered with a hum, his gaze lingering on the restrained patient. Though the words and gesture didn't provide any comfort, only replying with a soft whimper in response to the veiled threat.
While they waited for the probably-too-intense-for-this-situation paralytic to take hold, Hirabayashi would make himself comfortable. The doctor's tender smile would turn to the girls, eyes lingering on each of them for a few moments. Gaze would narrow into a squint, as if he was trying to peer past their eyes and steal a glimpse at something hidden underneath. But the moment was short lived, his countenance quickly softening. "Goodness. Both of you precious little kits are Hyuga? Truly I am the most blessed man in all of the land to have such sweet little doves descend upon me in this moment of need." A hand came to rest over his heart, his smile growing a bit as his attention remained focused on their eyes.
"One from the village of cloud, another from rain. You two really are the most perfect little duo, aren't you? Surely, this meeting must be a fated one." A hand reached out toward Hoshi, his smile only seeming to grow at the sight of her flustered cheeks. A claw would come to gently rest on the bottom of her chin, moving to carefully guide her face upward to properly face him. The moment he made contact, she would feel a faint tingling where she had been touched as a vague localized numbness took hold."Your eyes are as precious as they are beautiful, little one. I hope you are prepared to fight in order to protect them." A beat of silence would follow as he stared at the younger girl before his hand retracted.
His fond gaze would then toward the older of the two, his gaze showing no shame in how they examined her body before settling in her eyes. "There are many who would covet those treasures of yours. Individuals whose craving for your birth right far outweighs your own appreciation for what you have been granted. You must be ready to defend yourselves against the most feral of beasts as they tear each other apart just for a chance to pluck those shining pearls from their sockets for their own ends." The doctor's chest expanded as he sucked in a deep breath before slowly releasing it through his barely parted lips. "...Ah, but you don't have to worry about that here, do you? No, you are surrounded by friends now. And yet you still must be wary. There could be Stones hiding among the Mist waiting for a chance to strike."
It didn't take long for assistance to arrive in the form of a young child, her pale eyes immediately betraying her bloodline's origins. His lips returned to a soft smile as she forcefully removed the man's hands from their own, forcing them down to keep him from resisting any further. Before he even had a chance to praise the young girl, another would step forward to make herself available. His smile grew, eyes almost seeming to shine with pride as he looked between the two of them. It was so good to see a pair of young souls willing to lend their aid so readily.
"Thank you, my darlings." A clawed finger reached out toward Bashira as she kneeled down to assist, the sharp nail gently hooking around a strand of her hair to delicately brush it aside. "Be a dear and get his ankles for me? This is going to get a whole lot worse if he starts kicking." Their attention then turned to Hoshiko, a hand reaching over to rest a hand on top of her head. His shoulders relaxed, a pleased hum escaping him as he watched the younger hyuga's features. "Keep your weight on his wrists, sweetheart. He's going to be doing quite a bit of squirming with this next part." His hand slowly retreated from the purple haired girl, his attention turning back to the injured shinobi. "And you. You just had to go and waste the time of these poor, sweet young ladies. You should be ashamed of yourself."
The fingers holding the needle moved to dip it in one of the vials once more, giving it a thorough coating of poison medicine to ensure it would be effective. The man's breathing only grew more intense, pleading eyes looking between the two Hyuga as he silently begged for them to let him go. Or perhaps he wanted them to get help? Whatever the case, the good doctor would continue on without hesitation. "This is going to hurt quite a bit. But I promise it will help with the pain." Without further warning, the doctor jammed the needle into the man's neck. His movement was as swift as it was precise, yet he still seemed to be so casual that one may assume this was a standard procedure for him. At the same time, the man would finally let out a pained scream, moving to fight against those holding him down with what little strength he had left. Which with his injuries wouldn't be nearly enough to offer sufficient resistance.
With a flick of the wrist, the doctor would shake off the residual liquid from the tips of his nails. "If you two could just hold him while we wait for the paralytic to work its way through his system, it would be greatly appreciated. It shouldn't take too long." The two were offered a polite smile, the doctor continuing to pay no mind to the protests of his patient. "My name is Doctor Kobashigawa Hirabayashi. If there is anything I can do for you two, please let me know. It would be a great shame if I failed to provide compensation for your aid."
Do not worry, my little darling. You are in the most capable of hands. I promise to take very good care of you. ” Purple stained lips curled into a pleased smile, clawed fingers gently caressing the cheek of the heavily injured shinobi laid out on the mat before them. The man was gravely wounded, eyes closed tightly as his face twisted into a grimace. A frontline fighter that had been nearly eviscerated by the enemy, after which point every moment had been pure agony. And now he was in the medic’s tent with so many other injured shinobi being issued so many other treatments. But alas, this one’s injuries were to severe to be healed by simple medical chakra. This man needed a doctor.
The shinobi was unable to speak in reply to the doctor’s words, as he was too busy using every fiber of his being not to scream in utter agony. But the man treating him was as calm and patient as ever, watching the man’s face with a soft smile as a claw slowly dragged across his cheek. ”You’re doing good so far, but I’ll need you to relax for me.” As they spoke they would turn to the arrangement of tools set up on the floor beside them. A rather typical assortment, really. Bandages, balms, vials of strangely colored liquids, lots of needles...Yes. Perfectly normal.
Despite the doctor’s confidence, the man watched with fear in his eyes. He was clearly terrified of what was to come, perhaps even aware of their reputation. A fear that was only intensified when Kobashigawa produced a needle that seemed to be dripping with a translucent substance. The shinobi's hands reached out to stop him, pained whines escaping him as he grabbed the doctors wrists in a desperate plea for mercy. Though all he would receive was a faintly irritated sigh and a shake of the head, the bells dangling from his hair jingling gently from the motion.
”Oh you poor little soul. I come to you with an act of mercy, and yet you insist on resisting. Please, relax so that-” Another pained whine escaped the man as he shook he used what little energy he had to shake his head. To think, this person would rather lay there and die than receive the aid of a caring doctor. It was something that the ‘healer’ was all too familiar with, the ways that fear made people act so irrationally. Fortunately, that also meant he knew how to deal with this. ”Would someone come restrain this patient for me? He’s being unreasonably difficult.” His eyes narrowed into a glare this time, his words dripping with a venom that starkly contrasted his previous softness. It seemed the doctor’s patience was wearing thin.

The good doctor stood silently in his office, a lone bit of life in the otherwise frigid and clinical environment. Or at least he called it his office. In reality it was more of a laboratory, a facility with everything he needed to do anything from brew poisons and medicines to treating any patients bold enough to approach him for aid. The place was far cleaner than it was but a year ago, the new laws and regulations around experiments and the laboratories they were constructed in demanding he take better care of his workspace. As vain as the man was, he never cared much for making his workspace presentable. It used to be that those who would have a chance to lay eyes upon it would never speak of it again, be it out of inability or obligation. But now that Doctor Death's office was open to the public, it made sense to make the place as beautiful and clean as he was.
The problem was he was never really one for decoration. As much as he took pride in adorning his body with various intricacies, filling a space to make it appealing to others was far more difficult. Purple stained lips pursed slightly, a claw painted a similar shade gently dragging across his throat as he closely examined the lone flower set up on his desk. Surely that was a good enough decoration, yes? Yes, most certainly. Such a beautiful flower would surely warm the place up! Now he just needed to think up a second decoration...
But there was no time for that, was there? No, there never was. One must be careful with the only currency of life that was impossible to regain once spent. Who would have thought that interior decorating would be so time consuming? It was all quite stressful. Between this sort of nonsense, managing the balance between his personal projects and his obligations to the village with being responsible for a platoon on top of it all... If only they were here. Kobashigawa's dear, precious assistant. Even if they were absolutely no help around the lab, the comfort they provided was absolutely invaluable. It was as if spending a hour with them gave him the strength and motivation to triple his productivity and turn one hour into three! But alas, they were gone forever. A loss that would weigh heavily on his heart until the end of time. A fact that would serve as his greatest driving force and reason to live.
...For a man with such limited time, he certainly spend a lot of it reminiscing, didn't he? Must have been an old habit from back when he had fewer responsibilities and a schedule purely of his own design. Before the might of this new, young Hokage swept in shook things up. It would've been so easy to flee with the others, to dismiss her silly ideas of 'ethics' and whatnot. While he didn't agree with her views on what was acceptable in the name of science, he certainly couldn't complain too much. He had far too many things that he could work on without running the risk of being beheaded or whatever grizzly fate met his peers who didn't manage to conform or escape. All he could really do now was try to make things work and get to work.
Razor sharp nails reached out to delicately pinch the flower on his desk, carefully adjusting it's position within the vase. A soft breath escaped him as the task was completed, the bells on his head jingling softly as he nodded in approval. Ok, NOW it was perfect.
Proficiencies
Taijutsu [Journeymen] Many are surprised to hear that the good doctor isn't just a man of science, but also a taijutsu specialist. The man has spent as much time honing his body as he has his mind, making it into a weapon that's as lethal as any of the experimental poisons he concocts. Though the style he employs is far from conventional. While many martial artists have taken inspiration from the movements of wild animals, Kobashigawa has taken it to an entirely new level. The man is absolutely feral in combat, using his specially treated claw like fingernails to tear into his opposition like a frenzied beast that hungers for their flesh.
While it may appear to some that his attacks are wild and imprecise, like that of a thoughtless animal, those more trained in the art of fighting can see that his fighting instincts aren't clouded by bloodlust as one might assume. He may emphasize a fast and powerful offensive approach in battle, but one should never assume that he is completely thoughtless in his actions. Especially since he rarely engages in battle without first coating his claws in one of his potentially deadly poisons. While frequent contact with these substances has rendered him resistant to them, he still acts with a measure of care to ensure they don't bring him unnecessary harm.
Shurikenjutsu [Journeyman] It's important for a shinobi to have an option available at every range. So when he either can't engage in close quarters or doing so would be advantageous, Kobashigawa has put plenty of time into perfecting his usage of kunai and senbon. His prowess with these weapons is not to be underestimated, as this is where his precise nature starts to truly reveal itself on the battlefield. His extensive knowledge of human anatomy makes even these tiny needles and blades far more dangerous and deadly than one might expect, allowing him to use his keen aim to strike vital points throughout the target's body. Whether his objective is to capture or kill, he is more than capable of effectively performing either task with his tools.
One of his favorite examples of this is combining a senbon with a paralytic poison, which can completely disable a target's limb if he manages to hit the proper pressure point. He is even able to disable a target's senses using these techniques; Though doing such requires so much precision that a target must be completely stationary and within range. Doing so often requires the target to already be otherwise incapacitated and often have to be applied directly rather than being thrown from range. As such this is usually used as a means to disable a captured target or provide anesthetic to those he is experimenting on.
Stealth [Journeyman] Moving unseen and unheard is vital for anyone who wants to call themselves a shinobi. And Kobashigawa is no different. He is experienced in navigating the woods within the Land of Fire undetected, tracking and subduing targets both for his work as a shinobi and to secure test subjects for his own ends. Though he claims not to do the latter these days, the skills needed to do so have never dulled. He is a notoriously effective stalker, one with an almost unsettling level of dedication and patience when it comes to stalking prey. Whether it's waiting to strike them down the moment they are most vulnerable or simply to gather intel, he is especially skilled at maneuvering these woods and subduing the targets within them.
Though his skills aren't limited to such environments, it is truly where he most shines. After all, it wasn't until recently that he was pulled away from his personal agenda to assist the village as a whole. Learning new environments will come with time. For now he relies on his transferrable skills for such tasks.
"Medical Ninjutsu" [Journeyman] Dr. Hirabayashi is just that. A doctor. He is well practiced in medicine, first aid and deeply studied human anatomy for his entire life. What he most certainly is not is a typical shinobi medic. He has never bothered to learn how to use medical chakra outside of utilization of chakra scalpels, instead focusing on the more standard forms of healing. While this makes him unsuited for rapidly healing wounds in the heat of battle or performing similar tasks, it does allow him to serve as a more 'normal' doctor for the people of Otogakure. Though all of this is secondary to his true passion. Poisons.
He is constantly working on new toxic concoctions, something he is far more known for than his actual medical practice. Whatever sort of horrible thing you want to do to a person, Doctor Death has something for the occasion stashed away someplace in his office. Though there is still much research to be done and many especially deadly doses to be brewed, he still takes great pride in what he has created thus far. He has even developed a resistance to such poisons, though a strong enough dose is still capable of causing him harm. Unfortunately his greatest sadness is that he can only bring a handful of these with him at any given time. And since these are to be used in combat and thus could potentially be sampled by the enemy to create copies, he is limited in the potency of what he carries with him. But perhaps as he learns more complex and difficult to emulate recipes, he may be able to bring some of his more dangerous creations into active use in the battlefield.
Eshi no Yorokobi (Necrotic Delight) The most potent poison that the doctor brings with him into the field. Eshi is a poison that starts to act immediately upon making contact with the target, causing any cells that it comes into contact with to begin to blacken and die. While it would take an extended continuous pour of the fluid to eat through a limb, even getting a drop on the skin can be quite painful and require treatment down the line. Fortunately for the victims, this thick poison doesn't seem to enter into the bloodstream unless ingested. So even if slashed by an eshi coated claw, the poison will only impact the area around the wound. However, it would still make such a wound far more serious as it eats away at the surrounding flesh, especially if it was in proximity to a vital organ. This poison is very easy to recognize, as it is a thick goopy substance that is difficult to conceal and doesn't dilute or dissolve in water. So no need to worry about the good doctor slipping some into your drink.
Mahi-Sei no Jōnetsu (Paralytic Passion) MSJ is an old favorite of the doctor's, and to those who have knowledge of his deeds may be his most feared creation. This poison causes the area around the point of contact to become numb. A single drop on the fingertip can cause the whole finger to go numb and become unusable. Though the true danger is if it should manage to get into the bloodstream. Once in a victim's system, it rapidly spreads to the surrounding area, causing it to deaden temporarily. When used in combat, an MSJ coated claw that breaks the skin can cause the affected limb or area to go numb for a few seconds. Meanwhile, a well placed MSJ soaked senbon is cable of disabling a limb entirely for much longer should he manage to strike a specific pressure point.
Genkaku no Gochisō (Hallucination Feast) Genkaku no Gochiso is a hallucinogen that must enter into the target's system either by ingestion or direct injection. When ingested, the poison has greatly prolonged effects as it slowly works its way through the victim's system. When injected into the veins it is much more short lived, though the effects are more severe. This poison is more akin to a drug, attacking the mind directly and forcing it to feel feelings of vague pleasure along with visual hallucinations. The hallucinations vary from case to case, ranging from full on scenes appearing before them out of thin air or simply blurred vision and stars in their eyes. While it's the least overtly dangerous of his common poisons, it can at the very least slow down, distract or disorient a target long enough to create an opening.
Experimentation [Journeyman] Kobashigawa is obsessed with his experiments. He finds all living creatures to be absolutely fascinating, and is always researching and experimenting with new ways to enhance them. Whether it's artificially implanting genetic anomalies from certain family lines into another person or completely modifying their bodies in whatever way he can, he is in love with the art. While his medical practice has contributed to it, this is truly where his knowledge of the human body stems from.
His experiments have slowed down quite a bit since the rise of the new Hokage, but he has never stopped working and perfecting the art. No matter what happens, he is driven to continue his work. Few know the true reason behind this deeply rooted drive of his, but anyone who has had to listen to him rant and rave about the potential of organic life should have no trouble seeing it.
