War was no new idea within Ryku's world. Growing up within the Sanakagure controlled sector of the village during the Second War meant that he was exposed to all kinds of threats. Due to high crimes and acts of terror from both sides this meant that Ryku was forced to become a quick thinker and have a high level of discernment to the environment around him otherwise end up like those around him.... dead. At age 12 Ryku was drafted into a secret program which was established by the Amegakure officials to ensure that influence was secured even within their lost sectors. Parents were secretly paid to sell their children to be used by the government. This program was called Children of Rain and it was established as a way to to subvertly remove able bodied children from the war zone and out of the reach of Sanakagure influence. Though this seemed like a great idea, this quickly became a military camp where children were forced to learn how to fight and defend their country if need be. Due to Ryku being the youngest and not being able to physically or financially support his family, he was chosen by his father to participate thus being sold to the Government as a tool. During his time within this organization Ryku learned to become stealthy and how to access the flow of chakra and utilize that towards completing physical tasks. After three long years of being a Child of Rain the program was discontinued and the children were then free to return to their homes, sadly just as Ryku was packing his belongings to return home he was informed by one of the Organization Heads that the residential building that housed his family was destroyed two years ago due to a bombing by a local terror group, leaving everyone he knew deceased. Ryku's whole world had shattered.... a young boy with hopes to finally be with his family, taken away from him. With nothing to return to The Organization Head suggested to him that he use his shinobi like skills that had already been taught to him due to his years of service as a Child of Rain. With not much to lose or gain Ryku submitted the paperwork to join the shinobi ranks as a Genin.
Yohsin (Kenjutsu Style)[Apprentice]
Yoshin, a style of Kenjutsu honing one's precision to strike more precisely than any needle or arrow at the enemy's inherent weaknesses. The human body is full of natural weak spots and vulnerabilities, and Yoshin takes full advantage of those weaknesses in combat with calculated, precise, intelligent strikes and thrusts to cripple and cut down their opponent. Ryku is able to reconnise and attack at Common joints, common tendons and muscle groups, and even vital organs while utilizing Yoshin.
Taijutsu [Rookie]
Light, quick with very little power behind it. Ryku has amazing stamina but at this point lacks the understanding to add raw power behind his physical hits. Ryku lacks true takedown defense and his jui-jitsu is truly horrible. Ryku does not posses true strength but manages to use his dexterity to his advantage. Out Gas his opponent is the key to winning the fight.
Shurikenjutsu [Rookie]
Though Ryku is no master at using throwing weapons he has shown rather good potential. Good form means everything and that is something that Ryku hold close to his heart. He has lots to learn about the utilization of Shuriken but overall shows promise.
Stealth [Rookie]
Since a young boy stealth was a needed skill. Stealing bread and sneaking into class late are some of the things Ryku prides himself on. While operating as a Child of Rain, Ryku was forced to use this skill often to sneak in an out of enemy controlled area's without being noticed. Though he still needs lots of work he has the good chance at sneaking past an unaware untrained civilian.
