Otogakure… a melting pot of various backgrounds and cultures. Some hailed from the once vibrant and strong, hidden leaf village others from the smaller nations whose even smaller hidden villages who once called owed allegiance to the hidden leaf. Yoshitsune wasn't among either group, he was born in… or at least around Otogakure. He was truly a native of these lands… yet his peers often felt and thought otherwise.
Toki, Yoshitsune's mother, had sent him to the village for supplies for the next couple of weeks. He absolutely dreaded going to the village alone, which wasn't because of how he was treated. More so, it seemed that trouble usually found him when he did. Still, not wanting to face the wrath of his mother. So, he'd venture down from their cosy home nestled in the mountains north of Otogakure. It always took him longer than usual to reach the village as he'd get sidetracked several times along the way.
Before reaching the village, he'd make a beeline to Sayuri's home. He figured that if he had to suffer the ominous glares, and creepy whispers of the villagers, then she should too. Besides, she was his only friend and he really enjoyed her company even if people were weirded out about them hanging. As he walked he poked his hand into his pockets to make sure the list his mother had given him was still there. "Hehehe didn't lose it this time" he said to himself, eventually walking up to Sayuri's front door.
Knocking on the door, the blue haired boy couldn't help but smile, the longer he waited for someone to answer the door the bigger the smile had become. No matter what the two of them were doing it always turned into an adventure and it just so happened Sayuri was the best person to go on an adventure with.
"Moshi Moshi!!! Sayuri!! Come on let's go to the village!!!" He said not able to hide his excitement… as if they were doing more than just running errands.
An ungodly amount of noise and yelling woke up Sayuri on this peaceful morning. With a grumble she pulled her covers up over her head. Would he go away if she pretended she was not home? Her slumber had been so peaceful and her body weighed a ton... But then again... She knew Yoshitsune and the man would not stop till he was certain she was not home. Or maybe he would. She would just feel bad.
So she dragged herself out of bed and pulled on an oversized tshirt and one of her loose fitting shinobi pants and belt. A quick glance at herself in the mirror told her she needed to at least wash her face and do something with her hair. It looked like a bird's nest! Once that was done she pulled open the door and grabbed her bag from the knob on the wall.
"You are so early man... "
Yoshi had been her friend for a while now and honestly she wasn't sure if his company was a good influence on her. At least it seemed they worked together well and they had fun. So it couldn't be all bad right?
Sayuri locked the door so they could get going. With a yawn she addressed the blue-haired teen.
