Plotter Tooru Ikeda is a young and bright-eyed Amegakure Genin. At the moment I'm looking to thread with people inside of Amegakure, to explore the village, its limitations and the allure of the outside world. I'm fine with threads that don't (initially) mean a lot for Tooru himself, as long as it is somehow important to your character's growth and takes place in Amegakure.
I'd also like threads that explore aspects of Amegakure culture: the impacts that the near-constant warfare has, perhaps the melancholy of the rain, or something else such as that.
Kakesu is a little bit older and an outsider. He isn't neccisarily more experienced in shinobi related things, but he is someone who has experienced a lot of the world roaming around. In my mind he hasn't visited the big city yet, he is a traveling merchant and its on his to do list.
Maybe Tooru could show him around to hit the wicket on exploring the culture of the city, and Kakesu could tell him a little bit about the outside world and his travels to help plant the seeds on what life is like when you are free to do as you please-

That sounds good! I saw you're looking for a thread about coming of age, maybe we can incorporate that somehow? Plus, I imagine Tooru has some weird stuff sealed into funky objects lying around his family's home - maybe he could trade something like that for some trinket from the outside world.
Maybe the "unexpected perils" part could come into play, too. Perhaps it might end with him getting chased out of the village after they accidently unseal something dangerous? Let me know!
That sounds great! Maybe the trouble they unseal is in an undercity/sewer type thing, but we can get things going and move towards the peril midway through.
