The soil melded around her bare feet; for the first time in years she felt free. It was the first step that was her own, and it was all because of this mysterious savior who stood next to her. But with this jailbreak came more questions than answers. He had told her his name, perhaps, but what did that name actually mean, and why had he rescued her? How did he even know?[break][break]
Kyoufu turned back to take one final look at the building from which she had spent the last 8 years of her life. From the outside it was inconspicuous, looking like a small wooden shack... but beneath it was an entire system of dungeons and laboratories where God knows what happens. Kyoufu could only assume there were others trapped down there... unless maybe they'd been saved too? She'd never seen other prisoners, but she had a hard time believing that an entire prison had been dedicated to entrapping her.[break][break]
Once she'd taken in her final impression of that god-forsaken place, she turned forward, never to look back again and following this new stranger into the future.[break][break]
"Thank you for taking me out of that place" her voice was quiet, humble. "... where are we going?"[break][break]
this hadn't exactly been a "mission" in the traditional sense, but rather one that involved the organization solidifying their influence against a rival's operations. with this blow to their hideout and the assassination of their leader, vajrakilaya had settled itself comfortably as the main organized syndicate within kirigakure. the whole human trafficking bit that was going on here was fairly a surprise, but not necessarily unexpected. in a land of pirates that pillaged coastal cities and terrorized the distant lands, exporting and importing other nationalities was something that came with high frequency. smoking a cigarette while other members of the gang carted out crates and stocked them on their own ship, fei's hardly paying attention to the girl standing off to the side of him. [break][break]
doesn't know her, doesn't exactly care to know her. she's product. [break][break]
he flicks his cigarette, "name, age, clan." [break][break]
he doesn't look at her, but the statement comes with a commanding tone, expectant in her proper answer.
Her savior didn't seem particularly interested in her. Whatever he was doing, clearly this was all business for him. Kyoufu was generally good at analyzing situations. She didn't know what this situation was, however she knew she was more at the periphery than the center. Still, she was thankful for being rescued. She could only imagine how much longer her life could have gone on within the confines of this dungeon. No one should have to live their entire life in isolation.[break][break]
Somehow she'd managed to keep her sanity through all of the torture, and even she herself wasn't sure how. [break][break]
"Kyoufu... of the Senju Clan," she answered his question, however the Senju weren't much of a clan these days so far as she was aware. Still, it was a royal heritage in a way, and since he asked for her Clan she figured she would answer his question appropriately. "Uhhh.. Age? I don't know..."[break][break]
The girl held up her fingers and tried to count on them, however it wasn't really aiding her at all when there were too many factors she was unaware of.[break][break]
"Maybe... thirteen? Twelve? I think. No, I'm pretty sure I'm thirteen," she finally settled on the number like she knew for certain. It had never been that important to her to count days while in her cell.[break][break]
"I need to go home. My parents are Senju Daisuke and Chiaki. They're really strong jounin. If you're from Kirigakure you must have heard of them."
