The sounds of the lapping waves on the coast soothed Shinsuke's mind. Even from inside, he could hear frogs croaking and crickets chirping in the forest. He began to sing to himself.
"Down by the sea..."
*Krrrk*
Blood pooled around his feet, soaking into the floorboards.
"Night-blooming reeds..."
*Krrrk*
He threw a severed arm into a bag with a thunk.
"Embrace those who go dancing,"
Chairs clattered over as he roughly drug a man's body behind the counter and threw the saw on the corpse. The Inuzuka picked up the bag and lugged it over his shoulder, making his way to the exit.
"In sad moonlit dreams."
With a light sigh, he slid the tatami door to the roadside noodle shop closed behind him. Placing his bag on the ground, he pulled a cigarette out and lit it. Shinsuke took a long drag and let it out slowly through his mouth.
"What a night, Shiro." Grabbing the bag and slinging it over his shoulder once again, he made his way into the forest.
Some poor shmuck had been in the wrong place at the wrong time. A client needed a new arm, so Shinsuke had relieved it from someone making poor use of it.
Stuffing the bag into a hollowed-out tree filled with ice that Kageyoshi and Masaji had designated as the dead-drop, Shin put out his cigarette with his heel.
"'Nother job done," he said to himself as he walked some distance away. Pulling his nose plug off, he took a quick whiff. A small smile crossed his face as the scents of the woods filled his nose. Yet there was something else out there - wrinkling his nose, he followed the faint smell to a small dock on the shore.
Standing on the planks, he watched in silence as a small ship sailed closer and closer.
Plotter Shinsuke Inuzuka is a Sound Nukenin - a member of the Akatsuki, he is devoted to the progression of medicine and science. Kageyoshi and Masaji's lapdog, he is often sent out to retrieve test subjects: alive or dead. Despite this, he loves nature and animals and is a very calm and collected man. Aloof and curt, he is cold to most people but appreciates his few friends.
Kenjutsu is currently his primary proficiency: as such I'm looking for sparring partners, threads with fellow kenjutsu practitioners, or maybe an unscrupulous mentor?
He has a number of hobbies. He enjoys gambling, fishing, and most anything to do with nature: hiking, appreciating wildlife, picking flowers, etc. If you've got a character with similar interests, hit me up so we can get a thread going!
I'm of course always looking for friends, especially since they're sort of hard to find for a Missing-Nin! Affiliation doesn't matter (to him) and he isn't likely to ask about their feelings on medicinal ethics, so even people with differing opinions can be friends - for a time at least.
Rivals is another area I'm looking to expand on: maybe a Sound ninja intent on capturing and killing him, or someone he has directly or indirectly impacted. I'm fine with tying him into their backstory. I'd like to have a few characters that he can regularly have battles with.
I'd love to get to know and thread with fellow Inuzuka too - don't let his missing-nin status fool you, not every thread has to be a fight to the death!
Finally, those with Kekkai Genkai pose a big interest to Shin and his Akatsuki partners: anyone with a unique, exploitable one is of vital importance to them and Shinsuke would be more than happy to drag your character (willingly or otherwise) to the mad doctors to have your character "donate" to their cause or receive an implant themselves!

History Born in Otogakure to an Inuzuka father and Senju mother, the young Shinsuke had a great love for animals and nature despite his sickly and frail nature. Always a favorite of his teachers, he absorbed every piece of knowledge that he could. For all his proficiency in history and math, he struggled to bond with other people. Aloof and awkward, he tended to be picked on but quickly forgotten about as he simply didn't acknowledge the provocations.
Very neat and orderly, he graduated from the Academy and became a routine career Genin as he did not possess the people skills necessary to become a Chuunin. After many years together, his hitherto life-long companion hound Shiromaru passed away from a chronic illness. For the already-reclusive Shin, this brought on a severe bout of depression and near-fatal sickness.
Approached by Kageyoshi Ieda and @illustrious for the regenerative abilities hidden inside of him, he immersed himself in the world of medical ninjutsu and forbidden techniques: partly in a hope to revive his friend and partly for his own interest. He was amazed by the technological and medical progress that they were making - hopeful that one day scientific advancements would help animals and people to live better and longer lives, and eager to thank them for saving his life, he gave himself mind and body to their cause.
Covered in scars and patches of transplanted skin, his commitment to humanity's progress is clear to see. Accompanying them on their departure from the village, he became a Missing-Nin and their enforcer: gathering suitable test subjects both willing and unwilling.

Inu no Ashi [Taijutsu | Rookie]「★☆☆☆☆」 A feral derivative of the Inuzuka techniques created by Shinsuke for solo use, this style of taijutsu utilizes his sharp claws and fast movements to attack like a wild wolf. As is, he is merely an average hand-to-hand fighter using these techniques, barely better than most non-shinobi.
Regeneration [Kekkai Genkai | Rookie]「★☆☆☆☆」 Possessing the blood of the Senju, Shinsuke has access to their Kekkai Genkai. At his current level, this allows him to subtly heal faster at a barely noticeable rate.
