[attr="class","APP3"]It was a tough time getting around the city with how much mischief he's caused in his younger years. Kaito managed what he could and made his way to the part of town that had a lot of foot traffic. The young shinobi spent his day walking around looking at various shops and speaking to people he obviously didn't care about to see if anything interesting would come up. It in fact sure did. An old lady spoke of a dojo off a beaten path that seemed like it didn't belong there. If you were to view Kumogakure from above you'd be sure to spot it but from where he was currently standing it wasn't visible.
Kaito made his way past the crowd into the path that led up a steep hill. The hill itself was beautiful, the trees were shaken by the breeze and the sun poked its light through the holes in between the leaves. It was weird that this city had such a beautiful and remote spot. Kaito wasn't one to stop and smell the flowers but sometimes this is nice. After stopping to eat the onigiri he kept in his jacket pocket he'd continue his ascent. When he broke the hill line, he let out a small gasp. The shrine was beautiful, old, and slightly dusty but it definitely gave off an aura of mystery and even slightly of history.
He couldn't wait. Kaito dashed towards the shrine and didn't even knock. He'd pop his head into the doorway and see a massive figure. This man was huge and seemed terrifying. Kaito's body could feel his strength from about 5 meters away.
"Lifting weights sir?" he'd say half nervously and half in a joking manner.
❁ M E M O I R S Ever since a young age, Kaito has been someone who has stirred a lot of trouble within the realm of his family and friend groups. He secretly plots, sets people up and became so good at it that he could pit best friends against each other or have family fall out. In fact he became so good at it he was expelled from his original village of Amegakure for it. His family decided a new life within the lush and rain heavy village of Kumogakure was the best plan of action. Especially since his parents knew of their secret birthrite, the Uzumaki clan. The Uzumaki had incredible chakra and the ability to use adamantine sealing chains. From an early age Kaito exhibited signs of having the ability to gain these abilities so long as his mother taught them to him.
As Kaito grew older he decided taking the shinobi path was how he could make a living. Ninja are notoriously nasty creatures who use deception and assassination to gain fame and fortune. Kaito loved the idea of this. In fact, he would have done it earlier but his family had forbade it as they did not want to lose their only son to the scourge of war.
In Kaito's first year as a genin, he chose to coast and learn a variety of useful skills as well as meet many people to build those connections and relationships. With his foundations set, Kaito chose to become a more active member of the village and finally go out on missions. Too bad Kaito doesn't play well with others.
Proficiencies
Taijutsu [Rookie] ★☆☆☆☆☆ Basic taijutsu is taught at the academy. This includes combat moves such as acrobatic kicks and punches. At Kaito's level he's a novice at best. There were a few other ninja academy students who were stronger at taijutsu than he was but that doesn't mean that Kaito wasn't hopeless at it. In fact if he kept his mind to it he could become a potentially lethal assassin.
Ryoutoutsukai [Rookie] ★☆☆☆☆☆ Ryoutoutsukai is a fancy way of saying that he dual wields shortswords or daggers. This was a form of bukijutsu that was more specialized than shurikenjutsu. Kaito wasn't very good at slinging shuriken but did have a solid grasp on spatial awareness and is able to wield both of his weapons as if they were his dominant hands. Typical attacks include multiple slash combos with weapons being let go and caught in mid-air to continue his chain.
Stealth [Rookie] ★☆☆☆☆☆ Kaito was passable at the stealth skill, able to hide in bushes or behind trees without being noticed by lower level beings. This of course doesn't mean he could hide his chakra just yet, but is a good building path towards erasing himself completely to be able to attack from darkness.
Water Release [Rookie] ★☆☆☆☆☆ The water release was the same as his mother's. She was an accomplished user of the water style and Kaito hoped to be as well. Though at this time the best he could do is push and pull water. He knows he can do it but obviously it will take time and dedication just like everything else in his repertoire.
Fuinjutsu [Rookie] ★☆☆☆☆☆ Fuinjutsu is something that many others at the academy could not do. The level Kaito is at is only able to summon small items stored in a scroll or create a tiny lock seal on a door that can be broken with force. This skill will grow stronger with the Uzumaki blood that runs in his veins.
