What were once perfumed fabrics hung taut around Masaji's neck, full of blood and viscera of the man he supported. A surprisingly feminine voice shrieked when the serviceman came into view, which prompted Masaji to shift his partner's weight so they could begin 'assisting' him. ''It's terrible, he.. his face.. it's just..'' Crocodile tears streaked down his powdered face like hot wax, cutting narrow lines of beige through his white mask - although it was not the only mask he wore. As Masaji's eyes frantically moved between the servicemen, he took an inventory on their size and equipment - they were fairly ordinary in most respects, but the way they did not hesitate or freeze when they saw Kageyoshi's face hinted that they were at least fairly experienced. With the two supporting his weight, Masaji followed behind the pair of them, his slender fingers rewrapping the silken scarf around his neck.[break][break]

His voice shook with faux anxiety, rattling his words and hiding the irony of the situation. Lanky arms moved through the layered red fabrics he wore, which allowed him to gracefully unpin the senbon that he used as clothespins to keep his layered outfit tight to his silken undershirt. As they moved closer to the hospital, Masaji made polite small talk, but did not truly listen to what they were saying; having arranged this little excursion in advance, the enigmatic man simply awaited the code word from his partner: ''saviors''

A large number of clinics were still underdeveloped, using the most basic of equipment to try and save people's lives. For the majority, they worked fine - most minor injuries or non-infected wounds could be easily treated without advanced equipment.
