strike first, ask questions later. or... is it the other way around? being gifted with a mouth that never stops running means having to put some real practice into dealing with the fallout of said mouth. while he's by no means an expert in the area, an erratic patchwork style mashed together with just general obnoxiousness has served him well enough to keep his face from being rearranged- how lucky, right? close encounters and quick in-and-outs are his preferred method of dealing with issues he can't talk himself out of, making him quick to resort to bare fists before anything else.
onojutsu (rookie)
picking hand axes over a sword or shuriken was initially a purely aesthetic choice after being 'properly' absorbed into the vajrakilaya, but the weight of one in his hand has started to become something he's more than comfortable with. currently self taught, he's only recently putting real effort into 'bettering' himself in the area, but already has a clear bias for that nice 'unbalanced' swing. swords keep him too far away and throwing things feels clumsy in his hands, but an axe? something he can get in close with and put his whole weight behind? fucking perfect.

maybe he'd be a little sneakier if his temper wasn't running on a hair trigger, huh? his job asks more for nice, straightforward intimidation rather than sneaking around, and he's grateful as hell for that. instead of focusing on keeping himself out of sight, his efforts are usually put more into picking out when other people are trying to hide. not saying he's doing super great with that yet either, but he's definitely picking it up a little better than he'd expected to.
kekkai ninjutsu (rookie)
something he picked up pretty recently for 'work purposes', and surely not just to be a total asshole for the fun of it. right? maybe, but the 'why's are never as important as the results, anyways. junji doesn't have any real interest in defending himself, but something more along the lines of locking other people down and blocking off escape routes. is he as mobile in the process of it as he'd like to be? hell no he's not, but that's what practice is for.
chakra draining (rookie)
also something picked up for work purposes- having no real drive before becoming part of the gang really had him lacking in skills and practice, let's be super honest about it. as things are, it's still a little difficult for him to manage properly and takes more effort than he's usually willing to put out. that's not saying it doesn't definitely have it's uses, but until he can manage it without putting so much strain on himself, it's almost always a last resort and nothing else. something to use when the other person is already running on fumes, so he's not also completely wiped out in the process.
