[attr="class","texty"]“Strange?” The rabbit’s disposition clearly shown. “What is so strange about that exactly?” It was obvious that such a statement shook him to the core as he cuffed his hands around his mouth. By the time they removed to say that next cry, his cheeks were swollen with pockets of air. His gaze was piercing as his foggy eyes gazed in her direction, although he was blind, he was looking at her as if she was made from glass. He would make one more puff of his cheeks, showing absolute emotion as he was pouting in a tizzy.
“I have you know,” His index would rise for her to see as he began his lecture, “Ninja or not, The Usagi Clan proudly utilized the arts of the Earth as something more than ninjutsu! They created their homes, furnishings, and hid from their enemies using Doton! We have a proud honor of using the land in order to aid us and nothing more! A matter of fact, in one of our books, my Great Grandmother had used the Earthen Arts to hide after she had met a royal prince and deflower-“
The rabbit would pause, his fingers coveting his lips, as he would realize that not everyone appreciated the Usagi Clan’s genius.
“U-Umm…N-Never mind.” He shook his head adamantly. “A-A story for another time! The point is, Ninja or not, my clan know the basics of molding chakra. It is usually used to dance, keep our balance, and to run up walls and stick to surfaces. We are the ultimate dancers, so what rabbits make something as simple as gravity stop us from moving how we wish?” The boy would say this while wagging his finger in a very confident manner. His face having a charming smile that matched that soft tone that would question if he had the hostility of being a shinobi.

With her location found she shrugged to herself and slipped down the tree before landing beside him with only the sound of displaced dirt, the neko landing in a near crouch before raising upright meeting his gaze with her own before shifting to the diagram he had worked on.
"Fundamentals and theory aren't a bad start, granted I have no experience using illusions."
The neko calmly remarked before crouching back down and placing her palm to the ground and focused her chakra along her clawed glove and into the earth causing a faint pulse as particles lifted from the surface. However in the next second the sharp scent of ozone filled the air and electricity cracked the earth around her hand making the dust fall. A quiet sound of annoyance escaped the cat as she brushed her palm free.
"I haven't managed the Earth Release yet but I understand the weaving of chakra to a point where I can place a small amount of will into it even if its only... resonance?"
The question lingered on Junko's lips while she she glanced at the earth for a moment before shrugging and meeting his gaze once again expectantly like she expected at least some commentary on the energy they all used throughout their daily lives.
As far as the neko could tell, her prey had vanished which made a small huff of disappointment escape her lips while she idly gazed around the area not noticing any movement in the tree she had came from. Women dancing provocatively was enough to draw her attention on most counts, her new vantage giving her line of sight into their cleavage while she tore herself away from that to keep tabs on the others wandering the square, a few handsy men no shock but a smack and a telling off sent them away without requiring her intervention, likewise no thieves or other fiends.
After a short while she sat up at the sudden sound of wood being pierced but it was subtle, rhythmic, almost like nails without the bang of the mallet. then before her eyes the head of the man poked up over the edge and she blinked quietly before her hand shot forward covering his mouth, her presence changing in an instant as malice flowed off the beast in slow waves like the cold from a window in winter. Before he could speak her other hand gripped his shoulder and lifted him from her sitting position onto the roof. Once he wasn't about to fall off she placed a finger to her lips and scaled the roof to the other side of the incline expecting him to follow her, or give her a reason to drop him form the third story roof.
When the man departed Junko's head tilted faintly however as he asked about a back door she couldn't help but smirk like water she slid from the tree effortlessly in stride. if he felt so paranoid it was best she find a new spot to survey from after all. In the moment she decided on the shadowed rough of the main building, with the dark of the coming dark she probably wouldn't need to obscure herself either given her dark tones and matte coated metal.
Within the short stroll through the crowd her visage would slip behind a pillar before vanishing, leaping up to the rafters and using her agility and flexibility to swing her body upon onto the sloped ridges of the roof while moving to the apex of the roof and laying her body flush against the cooling tile while her gold gaze began to survey the crowd once more quietly as the dark encrouched further.
Even before her gaze caught the flapping creature she had begun to channel lightning chakra along her left arm and steadied straight ahead of her, the slow gradual build up was one method she had learned to not be wasteful of chakra as she used the metal surrounding her arms to focus and direct the charge like a rail. As she observed it and its rider she also came to find that it was taking position over the main gate. Before the the duo could begin their descent the feline let off a shot from her finger tips as a thing sharp bolt of electricity cut through the smoke filled air aimed straight for the rider's chest where he had been pulling oil from using the build up and rail trajectory to increase the speed of the shot, she didn't intend to kill the creature if she could help it so her target was the rider.
Regardless the pop of air alone would most likely draw attention to the sky and to those observant enough, the gold line slicing through the infernal haze overhead to bring the enemy to bear for everyone once again. The cat however knew the shot compromised her position and rolled off the roof out of both being's line of sight, using her claws to slow her drop to the road below and slipping into the smoke and shadows of the alleyways to find her path to another rooftop. Junko's ears stood straight and alert at all times for her surroundings while her gaze was primarily on the skies where she had fired her shot keeping her quarry locked down.
The stern emotionless tone of an anbu caught her attention instantly and drew Junko's attention while she listened to him regard the boy who had shown up a few moments ago and name dropping Naoko making the neko sigh quietly since it seemed she was needed now. However his reaction to the man leaving puzzled her before he began to wander around briefly and conclude with sitting beneath her place at the foot of the tree.
For a moment she neglected to do anything as Itaru began to draw, her gaze focusing on the subject, seemingly a sapling? or maybe a stick, either way she calmly closed her eyes and slunk down the back of the tree lightly touching onto the earth before leaning against the tree watching over his shoulder while he continued to draw not saying anything quite yet.
It seemed she touched a nerve, if he was that aware anyway, she continued to watch as the man slowly became more and more paranoid, his attention sweeping across the square and the street moving lined along them as while she smirked lightly finding his reactions more entertaining, second only to the women on stage but she wasn't allowed to pursue her baser desires while on the job. Her ear quirked slightly hearing him mutter something as she calmly watched him try to find the source of his paranoia while his gaze swept past her spot but she was used to most civilians not noticing her presence despite her looks.
As the man got up however her entertainment seemed to be at an end and while she watched his departure her gaze moved back to the others in the audience as well as the dancers making sure her task hadn't slipped in the moments of her distraction. Once her initial pass was clear she shifted her position slowly glancing back for the man and other parts of the street and clearing wondering if he was just tired of having a set of eyes on him, good instinct if nothing else.
As the smoke painted the sky like ink and the flames bellowed Junko watched from the highest rooftop she could find, her body laid low against the shingles she stayed out of sight and limited her movement to better scout and watch what was happening, sparing glances from the main threat of the fire-breathing bat to the undead making their way into the city. Clad in a tight navy top leaving her arms uncovered while her claws were worn, her lower body in a similarly snug manner allowing freedom of movement.
Regardless of what was currently going on on the front she waited to see how the enemy acted on their front and their reaction to the shinobi working against them. Likewise she kept notice of anything happening directly around herself ready to roll away and dodge or dropping from the roof entirely and breaking away from the location. The bat, or more so its rider, was her primary target at the moment finding his actions distasteful towards a mount, let alone one that was probably stronger than him.
The neko was annoyed to say the least as she laid in a tree overlooking the venue for the dancers, for whatever reason they needed to be policed given their foreign influence and proclivities, Junko didn't see it. They were attractive for sure but they didn't particularly seem hostile or conniving, just working women. Maybe it was the patrons and their grabby hands she was supposed to monitor, cutting them off when she felt they may perhaps go too far, that wasn't a bad thought.
Either way the navy clad dark-skinned woman stayed still and silent her mocha tone and dark colors helping her blend into the wood while her gold eyes lazily glanced from one patron to the other before landing on a man playing up his reactions with a fan, however she saw him seem to shudder after she had looked at him and began searching around for someone. It seemed amusing in turn given the dancers but she didn't move as she was now focused on his reactions instead.
"Its strange because why would you train for combat when your life keeps you away from it." She answered in kind gesturing towards his outfit, if he could feel her movements he would see her insinuation which helped in her practice and understanding of how he was communing with the ground. His avid monologs also gave her time to pick up on the inflections and tones of his voice determining the almost feminine sound while she glanced at the earth around her again seeing no cracks while she felt firmer in place, as if she could catch a blow that would make her slide back as she mused quietly before looking back up at him.
"Not to sound rude but that name doesn't really ring a bell for me but, I do know a thing or two about deflowering~" she casually brushed off his clan name having vaguely heard about his family back in the village but she wasn't very aware of them, the last bit however had her tone change completely, honey could have dripped off her tongue for all the boy could guess as the lioness smirked shooting the comment at him with the kind of confidence of a woman that was comfortable in herself.
Around the training shinobi, the obstacle course, the track, and the surroundings grew a number of tall trees and in one of them, roughly 15 meters from Itaru, a dark skinned woman in a black leotard laid on a branch seemingly asleep as her violet ears and tail flick every so often hidden in the shadow of the canopy overhead, the stray beam of light connecting with her skin, hair or clothing. Junko had made her way to the location the night prior before she had fallen asleep, granted the repose ended at dawn and now she was simply waiting and conserving energy until the extras showed up, using her hearing to determine the random arrivals.
Should the newest one, or even another, say or draw her interest her gold eyes would open and lock onto him or them regarding them lazily, clearly not the prime representative of a jounin.
The information she was given brought her to a similar conclusion that he was inexperienced but if he could learn to sense tremors in the ground that was a useful sensor ability regardless. With the cat's lack of ability a glance at the ground showed random cracks radiating from her position where her chakra had flickered to lightning nature out of instinct making her brow furrow a bit but she walked a few feet away to another tree and started to spread her chakra again.
"Im Akane Owari, are you a ninja or something? It seems strange to practice this if you aren't, from my perspective anyway." She asked calm and collected, her curiosity measured in her tone while her gaze stayed centered on the bun, her ears tuned to his movements and keeping her ready to act. Every shift and word was registered by location and speed from a step to a sit.
Her gold gaze saw his ascension and tilted her head never having seen the technique before as he stepped off the air again and launched himself onto a tree branch. However her ears didn't corroborate that information quite the same way, the sound was less like the impact of kicking the air and more like it swimming in a sense. As he called out however her eyes narrowed, she had been actively using her stealth which meant he had some sense that was stronger than the effort she had put forth.
"Neither, both? I'm wandering." She responded in kind seeing no point in trying to hide if he already knew she was there, that didn't mean she let her guard down though. After responding she slipped down from the branch using the all- fours technique to land on the earth without a sound before relaxing her limbs and standing up right, her attention wholly on the bun while she quietly began to attempt to seed her chakra into the ground around her, if he could sense her presence through vibrations in the earth it would explain how she was detected.
