The young kuniochi remained silent even as her Jonin sense disparged Toshio. There was nothing much she could say in this situation, after all it seemed that Azuma-sensei was correct. However, such things were put aside when the scheming man decided they all would have a spar. A non-negotiable one at that. Not one to defy orders - Hitomi was the first up to bat - producing chakra strings to lift her nameless puppet up beside her - only for her to (rather clumsily) lurch forward at Soichi with the intent to slam it's wooden fist in the man's punchable face.
[attr="class","arubody"] There was a loud whirr as the chain withdrew back, then a loud click as it settled back in position, the puppet's arm back inside its socket. Higa let out a sigh. Azuma just kept on berating him, honestly who thought he would do well teaching new ninja?
One hand was quite the crutch, although that doesn't necessarily mean he couldn't still use ninjutsu. He never did get the chance to try himself out against a jonin, especially one as eccentric and Azuma. It would be great practice.
It was a simple move really, Ishikawa made the first move and Higa quickly follow, tossing his kunai out with his strings attached swinging it in an arc aimed at Azuma's right side, Kishi's arm was aimed for his back.
He waited, timing the launch for just before the kunai would hit. While he couldn't exactly match Ishikawa's timings he could ensure he was close. Using his strings to guide both the kunai and arm to its target.
A step to my left took me out of he immediate trajectory of the kunai as I ran and a pivot dislodged my overcoat enough to affix it to my right arm. A storm of chakra wrapped itself around my foot as my arm wrapped itself around the kunai's cordage, - underneath my forearm and armpit. I yanked it closer and simultaneously launched myself at Higa. There was an explosion with that launching step, a massive burst of chakra and wind that was released as I let my body drop parallel to the ground itself. This chakra fired both at the ground and behind and directed its force in that direction along with a small pocket of wind. It wasn't the force of the initial burst of wind that launched me, but instead the collapse and detonation of that pocket. Still, if I was correct - and I was as I had seen this feinting move before, Higa's puppet should have actually been aimed to go behind me. It didn't have such luxury.
"This hand of mine is burning. . . blue! It tells me to defeat you!" My hand actually did take on the same sheen as my foot had only a moment ago, poised to strike Higa center-mass, it would be mere moments they met for afternoon (coffee) tea.
