About Nikkotsu
Nikkotsu is a loathsome individual with a greatly selfish streak - her motivators in life are coin and progression of humanity, not bound to the social codes or societal standard to make that happen. Not quite so horrible as to tear a child from their mother, not quite so kind as to help a stranger in the road. But well within her modus operandi is killing - for a greater good, and not out of malice but defensiveness, out of her own survival. Nikkotsu is a survivor, and ultimately that's what it comes down to: she chooses her every time. A backstabber, if that's what it takes to get her what she wants. The woman's life had been so milquetoast to a point that she had broke and taken what was hers. She developed a backbone later in her life than she wanted and that kind woman that she once was dissipated with a cruel and jaded cynicism took its place.
Her career took off from happenstance and granted the Chunin rank with what was effectively luck and courage, where even she in her smaller frame battered and beat a much bigger opponent than herself - to what people thought would be the end of days for her, and unassuming personality at the time that she would win. That single win got her whisked off to bigger and better missions where she lacked in, but being kept around as a symbol made the deeds of others make her look great and so she was promoted.
Nikkotsu became a missing nin from the Hidden Stone village off the back of what people later caught on as 'sociopathic behavior' where instead of learning from a reputable hospital in how to save lives, she was releasing her tension and interest of the human body on animals. While she never really wanted to hurt them, the reveal of what would have been a twisted trait and the ruination of her career led to her killing the involved party and reknown given from both her prior stories and accolades as well as the twisted deed, which was finding a corpse alongside other animals, but the body had been played with before she took off.
Of course, the animal killings stopped that day when she realised that actually she could do whatever she wanted - the only repercussion would be had if she was caught. So, she took off as a free soul, finding that not being shackled by a ninja nation was more freeing than anything else she had done in her life. Trying to be a better person - while also trying to advance her own interests is a battle that takes place every day.

Nikkotsu's style of fighting is generally brutal, grip based and about battering an enemy to shreds and breaking them as opposed to fast and precise.
A significant focus of Nikkotsu's training is using a style of "grip-punch" manoeuvres, which is removing a person's ability to run, and then using one hand to grip and the other to attack - meanwhile, the gripping hand is absorbing chakra - a double attack and a very light variant of wing-chun, except, this one is a bit more aggressive. Shurikenjutsu [Apprentice] ●●○○○○
Like many, Nikkotsu's had the basic academy training and was able to refine it to an acceptable level that means she can hit bandits and some moving targets with any shinobi weaponry, however doesn't have access to a walking armoury and doesn't tend to use them if she can get away with it. Otherwise, any equipment she holds is more likely for survival skills as opposed to combat where she has her hands.[/b] Nikkotsu's chosen weapon is a 4in dagger if needs must, situated on her left hip (for her dominant hand; right).[/ul][/blockquote]
Stealth [Apprentice] ●●○○○○
Nikkotsu has learned how to mask herself in a at least taught way, while lacking the refinement of being able to actively hide her tracks as she makes them, knows how to regulate her breathing to appear silent without prolonged movement and at least be able to reduce her noise output, but not capable of eliminating it at this stage.
Surgery [Apprentice] ●●○○○○
Nikkotsu had to learn to survive and in the rural areas outside villages has made a coin as a makeshift surgeon without an operating room, born out of a necessity if not a practical skill to keep herself alive as well. She can perform basic surgeries with chakra scalpels and treat rudimentary poisons that one might find in nature, as well make a practical living as a orthopaedic surgeon.
Chakra Absorption [Apprentice] ●●○○○○
Skimming from the top, as one might say is Nikkotsu's bread and butter - using her Arms of the Asura style of fighting as she calls it is where she doubly attacks: one of body, and one of soul. It does require direct contact, though does not have to be skin to skin and she can siphon some small amounts of chakra not quite equal to what she expends. So as long as someone is roughly on the same level as her and she has more chakra, it would likely end up being her win. Similarly speaking to keep herself fresh during surgeries on other people, she will take chakra while working, able to do the same with a extremely close range object (an inches away scalpel, for instance) as she works.
